Job Description

To provide support to the course instructors for various training courses, including but not limited to diving, in water support, fire support and maintenance support.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides support for the instruction, demonstration and examination/assessment of individuals/groups of delegates for specified course programmes and timetables
  • Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of current health and safety legislation and procedures
  • Always maintains a high standard of appearance, wearing company-provided clothing/PPE as required
  • Undertake additional duties commensurate with the overall responsibilities of the job
  • Undertake all activities in compliance with the requirements of the company’s and/or the client’s safety management systems (SMS)

Requirements

  • Diving qualification and valid dive medical
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be diplomatic
  • Well-developed communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Working knowledge of office IT systems including MS outlook, word and excel
  • Demonstrates a clear commitment to providing first class customer care
  • Highly organised
  • Takes a flexible approach to work activities to meet customer requirements
  • Ability to work on own initiative with little supervision
  • Ability to remain calm and assertive during busy periods or when dealing with challenging situations
  • Discreet with the ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Previous experience working within a training environment
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or equivalent
