District Support Pharmacist

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled
• Overseeing the pharmacy as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during certain shifts
• Safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Contributing to positive patient experiences through compassionate care
• Delivering immunizations and supporting Pharmacy Technicians to immunize
• Managing pharmacy inventory effectively
• Maintaining relevant clinical and technical skills
• Supporting access to care through pharmacist delivered clinical care such as testing and prescribing services
• Complying with federal and state laws, regulations, and ethical principles
• Supporting patient safety and managing controlled substances.

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
• Ability to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks and ensure patient safety
• Customer service and team orientation skills
• Communication skills with active listening
• Mathematical reasoning for calculating prescriptions accurately
• Problem resolution skills for challenging interactions
• Physical ability to remain mobile, lift up to 20lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
