District Support Pharmacist

• Managing and improving patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
• Traveling within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled
• Overseeing pharmacy workflow procedures and ensuring adherence to safety guardrails
• Serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts
• Demonstrating compassionate care and resolving insurance or medication issues
• Offering and delivering immunizations
• Managing pharmacy inventory according to best practices
• Facilitating patient outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical care
• Complying with federal and state laws, regulations, professional standards, and CVS policies
• Supporting scheduling and business needs while fostering a positive team dynamic

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
