Job Description

As a District Sales Manager at PENN. you will report to The Director of Sales and Operations, and lead a group of 17 stores within Quebec and Atlantic provinces. You would be responsible for leading a team of Store Managers to deliver exceptional customer service while upholding store profitability, seamless Omni Channel experience, merchandising excellence as well as delivering a diverse, inclusive and rewarding employee experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive store and store manager performance by leading effective store visits (in person & virtually) which are focused on driving behaviors which will enable store teams to meet financial goals and uphold visual initiatives
  • Identify themes in product performance across your assigned district with a goal to create and align a merchandising plan to excel and remain competitive within the market
  • Recruit, hire, develop and retain high performing store teams
  • Develop individuals and store teams by setting clear expectations, providing detailed goals and managing performance appropriately
  • Uphold all Reitmans (Canada) LTD. Policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 5 (+) years’ of experience in multi-unit management
  • Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Proven ability to drive results, educate and coach store leaders on managing their priorities and ensuring exceptional customer experience using all available channels (omni channel approach)
  • Proven ability to recruit, hire, train and succession plan with the intent to build and sustain a high performing sales team
  • Proven ability to coach and develop teams to deliver on their financial and merchandising capabilities with the goal to sustain visual excellence and KPI success within their businesses
  • Ability to travel to remote stores (up to 50% travel)
  • Bilingualism required
  • Regular collaboration with other provinces
  • Daily written and verbal communications in English
