Job Description:

District RV Resort Managers are responsible for the operational and the continued profitability of two or more resorts and serve as the day-to day point of contact for guests and residents. They are in charge of everything from administrative activities, marketing, leasing and home sales of new and pre-owned homes, to property maintenance, budgeting, and most importantly resident and guest relations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensures guests & residents receive the highest levels of service
  • Resolves complaints & responds to issues in a timely manner
  • Manages the rent collection process
  • Handles delinquencies & approves eviction proceedings
  • Ensures compliance of policies designed to increase team member safety
  • Ensures compliance with the federal state & local agencies that regulate fair housing laws & resort operations
  • Ensures that overall resort appearance is well maintained
  • Coordinates team member selection and development
  • Monitors, codes, & approves all invoices for operating expenses & sales related costs
  • Oversees & accounts for balancing of RV income nightly
  • Inspects & recommends purchase and renovation of repossessed homes
  • Markets models, pre-owned, & brokered homes for sale in the resort
  • Identifies & prepares sites for Sun Homes models
  • Assists RVP with developing a marketing strategy
  • Assists RVP with preparation of annual operating budgets
  • Reviews monthly property accounting reports & compiles reports for the Accounting department

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 2 years in property management/resort experience including 2 years of supervisory experience (Required)
  • 6 months in previous sales and leasing experience (Preferred)
  • 6 months in experience working in the hospitality industry (Preferred)
  • 6 months in experience using NetSuite (Preferred)
  • General knowledge of maintenance
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email, the internet and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours
  • Ability to live on-site within the resort (housing provided), if applicable
  • Valid driver’s license

  • 6 months in previous sales and leasing experience
