Job Description:

The District Pharmacy Coordinator plays a critical role supporting the effective coordination of scheduling in pharmacies across their market. With strong organization skills, high accountability, and consistent follow-through, the DPC ensures that all pharmacist schedules are created and published on time, with coverage and contingency plans in-place, to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and protect against business disruption.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting effective coordination of scheduling in pharmacies across market
  • Ensuring pharmacist schedules are created and published on time
  • Supporting scheduling and staffing of outside immunization clinics
  • Serving as timekeeping administrator for market pharmacists
  • Supporting Pharmacy District Leader as delegate to execute base changes, track vacation requests, manage pay code balances
  • Partnering with Rx DL to identify and close gaps with PIC/POA registrations
  • Escalating and following up on issues impacting effective pharmacy operations

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Pharmacy Technician Licensure/Certification must be obtained no later than 90 days in role
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assignment deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Nice to have:

  • Pharmacy Lead Technician experience
  • Familiarity and experience with mySchedule and Workbrain or other scheduling/time and attendance/payroll systems
