Job Description:

The District Pharmacy Coordinator plays a critical role supporting the effective coordination of scheduling in pharmacies across their market. With strong organization skills, high accountability, and consistent follow-through, the DPC ensures that all pharmacist schedules are created and published on time, with coverage and contingency plans in-place, to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and protect against business disruption.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set and maintain Pharmacist schedule for stores in the district
  • Track and submit pharmacist payroll weekly
  • Manage vaccine clinic scheduling
  • Support additional administrative needs at the direction of the Pharmacy District Leader
  • Partner with Rx DL to identify and close gaps with PIC/POA registrations
  • Escalate and follow up on issues impacting effective pharmacy operations

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
  • Pharmacy Technician Licensure/Certification must be obtained no later than 90 days in role
  • 1+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assignment deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Physical demands including data entry, mobility, lifting up to 20-40lbs, reaching, stooping, and visual acuity

  • Associates Degree
  • 3 to 5 years prior relevant work experience
  • Pharmacy Lead Technician experience
  • Familiarity and experience with mySchedule and Workbrain or other scheduling/time and attendance/payroll systems
