Job Description:

District Manager position responsible for maximizing store sales, managing controllable costs, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, providing leadership to store managers, and achieving financial objectives through forecasting and budgeting.

Job Responsibility:

Maximize store sales through excellent customer service, product availability, merchandising and exceptional store image
Provide information to store management by recapping promotional activity and reporting business opportunities
Manage controllable costs by educating managers on procedures
Collaborate with marketing team to ensure promotions and new product introductions are fully implemented
Partner with vendors to ensure product availability
Ensure store operations are profitable by managing cash and merchandise variation
Ensure compliance with requirements by enforcing adherence to policies and procedures
Protect employees, customers and company assets by maintaining a safe and secure working environment
Achieve financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budget
Provide leadership and direction to store managers including assistance in recruiting, selection, and orientation processes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
Three to five years of retail business experience or more preferred
Minimum of two years of management responsibility
Demonstrated leadership ability
Good communication skills
Self-directed and self-motivated
Customer service oriented
Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
Ability to supervise and train Store Managers
Expertise with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred
Valid driver's license required
