The Commercial Manager owns end-to-end commercial responsibility for a portfolio of Crocs distributor markets, acting as the key commercial partner to ensure alignment with brand strategy, seasonal priorities, and financial targets. Reporting to the Commercial Director within the Commercial Wholesale team, the role includes regular in-market travel across EMEA (approximately 40-50%).
Job Responsibility:
Set 3-5 year growth strategies and manage annual operating plans
Own commercial performance across sell-in, sell-through, revenue, and profitability
Identify risks and opportunities, driving corrective actions with distributors
Ensure brand and product adoption across all markets and channels
Drive growth across Wholesale and DTC channels
Support seasonal go-to-market execution including line reviews and orderbook management
Ensure distributors align with brand standards across merchandising, retail execution and digital
Conduct regular business reviews and market visits to assess performance and brand execution
Partner with Product Merchandising to align assortments by market and channel
Collaborate with Marketing to execute regional campaigns and ensure brand consistency
Work with Planning on orders, inventory availability, delivery, and demand accuracy
Liaise with Finance on commercial agreements, credit, and budget management
Ensure annual store openings and refits with Franchise Retail
Manage sales forecasting and revenue projections to support commercial decision-making
Analyze sales, inventory, pricing and market trends to deliver insights and recommendations
Prepare clear reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior leadership
Execute distribution agreements and ensure policy and framework compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
4-6 years of experience in commercial, account, or international sales management, preferably within footwear, fashion, or sporting goods
Demonstrated experience managing distributors, agents, or international partners
Strong analytical and financial acumen, with advanced Excel and data interpretation skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented global environment
Passion for the brand and solid understanding of the lifestyle and footwear retail landscape
