We are looking for a Distributor Assistant Manager to lead and manage a sales team within a designated distributor territory. The primary goal is to drive sales growth, optimize product distribution and visibility, ensure effective coverage, and increase market share. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional business acumen, and a solid understanding of working capital, ROI, and FMCG operations.
Job Responsibility:
Translate monthly CD priorities and company strategy into actionable sales plans
Set and monitor sales targets for assigned distributors
Guide and support distributor sales teams in identifying opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals
Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability, visibility, and campaign execution
Monitor sales activation and support MDM programs to build brand penetration
Analyze market data and sales reports to identify trends and opportunities by channel and category
Collaborate with distributors to recruit, train, and motivate high-performing sales teams
Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations
Provide coaching and feedback to maximize team performance
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners
Monitor customer satisfaction and address concerns promptly
Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities
