Job Description:

Randstad Canada is seeking a high-energy, people-focused Supervisor to lead outbound operations for a premier distribution hub in Balzac. Based in Calgary and reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the daily execution of outbound operations, focusing primarily on overseeing the Shipping Department to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of products. In this role, you will earn a competitive annual salary of $60,000 – $65,000 while working a stable Monday to Friday schedule. We are seeking a professional who balances operational excellence with a collaborative, people-first approach. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide daily direction to the shipping team, setting clear priorities and ensuring a productive, high-energy workflow
  • Oversee the entire outbound cycle, including order prep, staging, dock scheduling, and carrier relations to guarantee on-time delivery
  • Act as a "working team lead," stepping in to support the team during peak volumes or staffing shortages to maintain momentum
  • Continuously evaluate warehouse layout and shipping procedures to drive improvements in space utilization and efficiency
  • Investigate and resolve member shipping issues promptly to maintain the highest levels of service and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of Team Lead experience in a warehouse or distribution setting
  • Licensed and experienced in operating forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, and power walkies
  • Skilled in computerized order processing
  • Ability to effectively direct, coach, and motivate a team while maintaining a professional and cohesive atmosphere
