The Distribution Standards team supports communities across British Columbia from our Burnaby office. Our group is made up of a skilled and diverse set of engineering professionals who develop construction standards and select, specify, and approve equipment for use throughout Distribution System. The team also works closely with Operations, supporting failure investigations and providing engineering expertise to both internal and external engineers and designers so that the distribution system is operated, maintained, repaired, upgraded, replaced, and expanded with a strong focus on safety. Our teams are also driving forward the modernization of standards delivery, including adopting advanced design tools and exploring AI-enabled workflows to improve how we develop and deliver engineering standards.
