Job Description

We are seeking a Distribution Manager to set up and scale Atica’s distribution vertical from scratch. This is a high-ownership role where you will design processes, build relationships with demand partners, manage a small team, and directly influence Atica’s growth in the US hospitality market. The right candidate is proactive, entrepreneurial, and has high agency and urgency. They must also bring strong communication skills to engage confidently with senior US hotel stakeholders and demand partners, and ideally have email marketing expertise to strengthen Atica’s outreach and campaign execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Build the Distribution vertical from the ground up, establishing SOPs, systems, and best practices
  • Identify, evaluate, and segment demand partners (OTAs, RFP platforms, distribution channels) into Tier 1 / Tier 2 / niche categories
  • Establish virtual connects with demand partners to explore opportunities, negotiate priorities, and align on hotel-specific fit
  • Document and store all partner evaluations, insights, and performance data in a structured way for future decision-making and scale
  • Own end-to-end execution of distribution campaigns while actively engaging with partners to drive visibility, performance, and revenue growth
  • Manage hotel listings, offers, campaigns, and updates across OTAs, RFP platforms, and direct distribution channels
  • Work closely with distribution partners (e.g., Hotelbeds, WebBeds, etc.) to ensure campaigns are live, visible, and prioritized within their platforms
  • Use email marketing tools (e.g., Lemlist, LSQ) and direct partner communication to improve campaign reach, activation, and performance
  • Drive partner alignment on promotions, placements, and demand opportunities to maximize campaign impact
  • Track campaign and partner performance, identifying gaps in visibility, conversion, or contribution, and take corrective actions
  • Proactively communicate with partners to resolve issues, push for better outcomes, and ensure Atica hotels are not deprioritized
  • Demonstrate clear, structured, and assertive communication—able to follow up rigorously, push back when required, and influence partner-side decisions
  • Maximize partner penetration and revenue contribution across all active distribution channels
  • Build dashboards and trackers for hotels and revenue teams
  • Maintain full clarity on campaign execution, rates, and content
  • Standardize workflows and continuously improve systems for efficiency
  • Identify scalable solutions for recurring distribution challenges
  • Train, mentor, and monitor associates to ensure flawless day-to-day execution
  • Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and quality delivery
  • Collaborate with Sales and Revenue teams to align on hotel objectives
  • Liaise directly with US hotel stakeholders (DOS, RMs) for smooth execution
  • Work closely with Product & Tech teams: Report and track bugs affecting distribution workflows
  • Raise feature requests for new processes and enhancements
  • Continuously optimize internal tools for accuracy and speed
  • Audit content, pricing, and offers for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain SLA adherence and partner agreements

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of relevant experience in hotel distribution, sales (KNR/Global Sales), or related commercial roles in hospitality
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills—clear, structured, and assertive
  • able to manage partner conversations, push back when required, and influence outcomes in a commercial context
  • Deep understanding of distribution channels including OTAs, RFP platforms, GDS, and direct booking ecosystems
  • Proven process-builder with the ability to design workflows, implement SOPs, and optimize for scale
  • Outstanding communication skills—able to confidently engage with senior US stakeholders and demand partners
  • Email marketing expertise (e.g., Lemlist, LSQ, or similar tools) to strengthen partner outreach and campaign execution
  • Strong relationship management: skilled at building and maintaining demand partner and hotel stakeholder connections
  • People leadership exposure with experience mentoring or managing associates (preferred)
  • High agency and urgency, thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment
  • Willingness to work US night shifts
