Job Responsibility:
Direct others in the safe completion of work
Lead a crew
Follow directions as required
Assist with troubleshooting on primary and secondary conductors
Maintain vehicles/equipment in good working condition
Conduct effective pre-job briefings
Read and follow drawings and blueprints
Possess outstanding communication skills and work effectively with others
Must be self-motivated, team-focused, and customer-focused
Must work overtime as required
Must respond to storm restoration work and call-outs, as required
This work may require individuals to be away from home on an extended basis
Requirements:
Attended Lineman School (preferred)
OSHA 10 Card (or equivalent)
Electrical Card
Digger Derrick
Track Bucket
Rigging
Wood Pole Climbing Certificate (preferred)
Aerial Bucket
Track Digger
Wire Stringing Equipment
Phasing Out Conductors
Minimum of three (3) years of lineman experience
Lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
Work outdoors
Climb steel towers
Climb wood poles
Climb other structures
Work in inclement weather
Work in high and low temperatures
Work on primary conductors
Work on secondary conductors
Work on regulators
Work off of ladders
Work at heights up to 100’ or more
Work on transformer banks
Work on reclosers
Work on capacitors
Work in confined spaces
