Job Description

Distribution Lead role at Coca-Cola HBC in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves leading a team of distribution planners, managing shipment planning and delivery follow-up, monitoring performance metrics, improving processes, and ensuring customer service. The position is part of the Supply Chain function and is on-site.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and supervise a team of distribution planners
  • Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members
  • Ensure accurate and efficient creation of shipment plans
  • Assign shipments to drivers based on route optimization and capacity
  • Coordinate with warehouses to ensure timely product availability
  • Track shipment progress and monitor delivery timelines
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the delivery process
  • Maintain open communication with warehouses and drivers to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution, such as on-time delivery rates, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize distribution processes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce costs
  • Implement new technologies or systems to enhance efficiency
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to deliveries
  • Ensure that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in distribution or logistics
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities
  • Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
