Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Distribution Customer Service Representative to support daily warehouse and customer service operations in Orlando, Florida. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone early in their career who brings hands-on experience in distribution, shipping, and customer support. The person in this role will help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, process orders through business software systems, and provide responsive service to customers and internal teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure materials and orders move accurately and on schedule
  • Process customer orders, update account information, and maintain accurate records in inventory and order management systems
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, resolving service issues with professionalism and urgency
  • Work with dispatch, scheduling, and warehouse teams to support order flow and delivery timelines
  • Monitor inventory transactions and assist with keeping stock data organized and current within company software platforms
  • Support onboarding and day-to-day guidance for new team members by sharing standard operating procedures and workflow expectations
  • Prepare shipping documentation and use parcel or distribution software tools to complete outbound transactions
  • Assist with operational tasks tied to distribution processes, including system-related updates when required by the business

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a distribution, warehouse, or customer service environment is required
  • Working knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including shipment processing and documentation
  • Experience using inventory, order entry, or distribution software in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to manage customer accounts, enter orders accurately, and provide strong service support
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance warehouse tasks and customer-facing responsibilities
  • Comfortable working in an entry-level to early-career role that requires both independent work and team collaboration

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with dispatch coordination, job scheduling, or call center style customer communication is preferred
  • Experience in a uniform services or related operational environment is a plus
