Job Description:

As a Distribution Centre Operator, you will manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, returns processing, and logistics coordination, while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship goods in line with customer and operational requirements
  • Manage inbound receipt of goods, including unloading, checking, and processing stock into inventory
  • Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock reconciliation
  • Handle return processes, including inspection, documentation, and storage
  • Coordinate freight and logistics activities to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with WHS standards
  • Support Sales and Customer Care teams with order updates, product availability, and fulfilment requirements
  • Assist in special projects, customer-specific requests, and operational improvements across departments
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with warehouse safety procedures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support company values and culture

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar warehouse, distribution, or logistics role
  • A current and valid forklift license is a must
  • Sound understanding of freight coordination, inventory management, and warehouse operations
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic Microsoft Office applications
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling and repetitive tasks
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
  • Able and willing to work across departments including operations, sales, and customer care
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards
