Job Description:

The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor directs workflow for warehouse employees and leads their team to meet and exceed daily targets. Manages day to day work operations and evaluates work performance. Assists manager in the total leadership and operations with initiative, leadership, and continuous improvement thinking.

Job Responsibility:

Directs workflow for warehouse employees and leads their team to meet and exceed daily targets
Manages day to day work operations and evaluates work performance
Assists manager in the total leadership and operations with initiative, leadership, and continuous improvement thinking
Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics
Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process

Requirements:

3-5 years work experience in a Warehouse or Distribution Center
3-5 years work experience in a leadership role and managing a team
Verifiable High School diploma or GED
Availability to work 1st shift, on-site at AZ - Tolleson from Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with some additional flexibility

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of business intelligence
Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
Experience in Lean and Kaizen
Working knowledge of collaboration and teamwork
Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
Associate degree preferred
