Job Description:

As the Distribution Center Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of 18+ non-exempt employees in CVS Health's state of the art distribution facility. This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center. Additionally, you will be responsible for order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders. You are also responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.

Job Responsibility:

Leading a team of 18+ non-exempt employees
Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising daily activities of assigned shift
Order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders
Maintaining high level of productivity and quality
Schedule and assign work to employees
Determine proper staffing levels
Maintain balanced workload
Monitor work performance of each employee
Provide ongoing training/retraining
Utilize reports and procedures to project workload
Administer policies/procedures
Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling
Communicate effectively across all levels
Build high-performance teams
Champion Safety by maintaining safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

2+ years of prior supervisory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
Warehouse Management Systems experience
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Nice to have:

Compliance, DEA or regulatory background
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently
Ability to complete assignments within established timelines
Ability to complete work under general supervision
Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
Bachelor's Degree
