Job Description:

As a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 90 non-exempt employees in CVS Health's state of the art distribution facility. This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center. Additionally, you will be responsible for order selection, replenishment, loading and shipping of store orders. You are also responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.

Job Responsibility:

Leading a team of up to 90 non-exempt employees
Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area
Order selection, replenishment, loading and shipping of store orders
Hiring, Onboarding, Training, Scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
Ensuring Employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents
Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve daily production and delivery goals
Balancing workloads
Monitoring work performance of each employee
Conducting staff meetings
Providing ongoing training and retraining
Utilizing reports and procedures to project workload and resolve problems
Communicate effectively across all levels
Analyzing information to make sound business decisions
Build high performance teams
Promotes and reinforces safety and security awareness

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory or group leading experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required
Must be available to work 2nd shift, Monday – Friday (ranging from 1PM-1AM) with additional flexibility as needed including Saturdays as required for operational needs

Nice to have:

Bilingual Preferred: Spanish and or Creole
Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory or group leading experience in an automated facility
Bachelor's degree
Background in Six Sigma production techniques
