Job Description:

As a Distribution Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of non-exempt employees in CVS Health's state of the art distribution facility. This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center. Additionally, you will be responsible for order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders. You are also responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading a team of non-exempt employees
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising daily activities of assigned shift and functional area
  • Order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders
  • Maintaining high level of productivity and quality
  • Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
  • Ensuring employees have necessary equipment, materials, and documents
  • Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve daily production and delivery goals
  • Balancing workloads throughout the day
  • Monitoring work performance of each employee
  • Conducting staff meetings
  • Providing ongoing training and retraining
  • Utilizing reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems
  • Communicating effectively across all levels
  • Analyzing information to make sound business decisions
  • Building high-performance teams

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of prior supervisory or group leading experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Verifiable High School Diploma/GED
