Job Description:

The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor will report to the Manager of DC Operations and plays a critical role in engaging and inspiring their team to meet and exceed daily targets in a union environment.

Job Responsibility:

Drive daily work execution and monitors work performance
Drive an engaged, productive team through strong leadership
Support the Operations Manager in the total leadership and operations in union environment
Lead approximately 20+ warehouse employees in the stocking department

Requirements:

2+ years' experience in a leadership role within a distribution center/warehouse
2+ years' experience with Microsoft Office
Supervision experience
Verifiable High School Diploma/GED

Nice to have:

Union experience
WMS experience
Bilingual
Lean experience
Ability to work multiple shifts or departments
Ability to maintain strict level of confidentiality
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to act quickly and competently in emergencies
Bachelor's degree
