Job Description:

As the Distribution Center Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of 25-40 colleagues at CVS Health's state of the art distribution facility. This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading a team of 25-40 colleagues
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising daily activities of assigned shift
  • Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
  • Ensuring employees have necessary equipment and materials
  • Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve daily production goals
  • Balancing workloads throughout the day
  • Monitoring work performance for quality and quantity expectations
  • Conducting staff meetings
  • Providing ongoing training and retraining
  • Utilizing reports and procedures to project workload and resolve problems
  • Analyzing information to make sound business decisions
  • Building high-performance teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
  • Verifiable High School Diploma/GED
  • 2nd shift hours of 2:30pm to 11:00 pm, weekends as needed
  • Ability to provide 2nd shift coverage for colleagues on vacation

Nice to have:

  • Warehouse Management Systems experience
  • MS Office experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
  • Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently
  • Ability to complete assignments within established timelines
  • Ability to complete work under general supervision
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working in Union Facility
