Job Description

Working as Part-time Distribution Center Help Desk, you will manage the Distribution Center Help Desk department. Responding to help desk calls related to orders and/or products is the primary responsibility of this team. You will provide supervision and leadership to a team of employees. You will be responsible for the overall function of the department including short term and long term goals that pertain to quality, productivity and time management. Job Responsibility

  • Providing leadership, development and supervision of team members
  • Coordinating employees, including scheduling, hiring and exiting
  • Ensuring short term and long term goals are met
  • Training and developing employees
  • Communicating with employees and branches
  • Assisting branches with product related questions or issues by phone, email or online support
  • Retrieving product for walk in customers at our distribution center
  • Analyzing staffing needs, reports and projections to optimize output and meet department goals
  • Utilizing data to implement changes and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintaining the cleanliness/organization of work area
  • Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
  • Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
  • Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of prior leadership or management work experience
  • Knowledge of computer operations, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
  • Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
