Job Responsibility

  • Regulatory Compliance: Handle pharmaceutical and radioactive products in strict accordance with current Canadian regulatory standards
  • Shipping Coordination: Oversee dock activities and strategically coordinate delivery timelines to ensure time-sensitive shipments move efficiently
  • SOP Management: Guarantee that all products covered by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are handled correctly and within required timeframes
  • Inventory Control: Manage the distribution center’s inventory, ensure optimal storage conditions for specialized products, and submit reports on time
  • Documentation: Document work instructions as required to maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of warehouse activities
  • Actively collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal/external teams, suppliers, and carriers to maintain service excellence

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in warehouse operations (picking, receiving, packing, and transportation)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic comfort using an ERP system
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment (pharmaceutical or medical imaging industry) is a major asset
  • Knowledge of GMP (an asset)

  • UPS Shipments: Print shipping labels, securely overpack products, and ensure proper sorting and routing of packages
  • Core Processing: Unload and stage core returns/defective cores, Sort and scan cores, completes all paperwork associated with core return procedures
  • Returns: Process all returns of classified merchandise to the DC by checking shipments for accuracy, completing all paperwork related to class returns and restocks parts in designated areas
  • RGN: Prepares and ship back all labor claims by checking DC stock, receives for jobbers, accumulates and creates claims & ships back to vendor all recall merchandise, while also answering questions from stores regarding warranties, rejections, repairs & returns & labor claims. Will also need to create claims for, and ship back claims to vendors for chemical defectives
  • Quality Control: Ensure shipments are accurate and free from damage. Report any quality variances promptly
  • Safety, Housekeeping, & Security: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment. Support and comply with the company’s safety programs, policies, and initiatives
