Distinguished Engineer

• architect and optimize our cloud infrastructure, focusing on GCP, to ensure it supports our current and future business needs
• design and implement robust cloud automation and orchestration solutions to streamline operations and reduce the time to market for new features and products
• develop and enforce cloud governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• lead technical discussions and provide thought leadership in cloud computing, contributing to the strategic direction of our technology roadmap
• mentor and guide engineering teams in adopting best practices in cloud computing, automation, and governance
• collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs
• stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their applicability to our business goals and operational requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on GCP
• proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions, with a deep understanding of cloud architecture, automation, and governance
• expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines
• strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
• excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• demonstrated ability to lead and inspire engineering teams
• certifications in GCP and other cloud technologies are highly desirable
