Job Description:

My client is a legal 500 law firm, seeking a newly qualified to 1 year post-qualification solicitor to join their growing Dispute Resolution team.

Job Responsibility:

Managing a varied litigation caseload across property and commercial disputes
Advising clients on legal options and strategy, and progressing cases efficiently and effectively
Delivering a high standard of client care and maintaining regular and clear communication
Handling correspondence, negotiations, and, where appropriate, conducting advocacy
Recording time accurately, ensuring timely billing, and assisting with department operations
Staying current with legal developments relevant to your practice area
Supporting junior team members as appropriate and collaborating across departments
Engaging in business development activities and building client relationships

Requirements:

NQ to 1 year PQE with practical experience in litigation
Experience in property litigation, including landlord possession claims, disrepair, tenancy disputes, leasehold issues, service charge disputes, and breaches of lease
Experience in commercial litigation, particularly contractual disputes
Background in privately funded client work (individuals and SMEs)
Strong advocacy skills (desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
Strong IT skills and commercial awareness
Current Practicing Certificate
