Job Description:

Groupon is looking for a hands-on Display / Paid Social Lead who can take over our global paid social engine, elevate the strategy, and lead a five-person team across Meta, Criteo, GDN, TikTok, and more. This is not a maintenance role. This is a “take it, fix it, scale it” role. You’ll own Meta performance end-to-end, drive Gross Profit within ROAS guardrails, accelerate creative testing, and bring AI-enabled execution into daily workflows. And yes - you’ll work with serious budgets: $1M+ per month. If you thrive in fast data loops, know how to push teams to excellence, and love mixing creativity with analytics, this one’s for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and develop a team of 5 specialists - set KPIs, coach performance, build routines, and reset the way of working
  • Own and execute the global Display & Paid Social strategy across Meta (core), Criteo, GDN, TikTok, Reddit and emerging app channels
  • Balance prospecting/retargeting and identify scalable growth opportunities with feed & category owners
  • Combine hands-on execution (~50% at the start) with long-term strategic leadership
  • Run a structured brief → build → QA → launch workflow with Design and deliver AI-enabled creative production
  • Drive data-led decision making using Tableau, and support app-marketing, AppsFlyer integration and incrementality testing
  • AI & automation (LLMs for briefs, creative iteration, QA
  • platform automations for alerts/bulk changes)
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue, BI, Product, Design and communicate clearly through concise updates and post-mortems

Requirements:

  • Deep Meta Ads expertise with multi-market, high-spend budgets ≥ $1M/month
  • Experience in Local Services, marketplaces, or high-volume B2C
  • Ability to lead a team, set standards, and build strong routines
  • Analytical & creative skills - DPA, feed quality, testing mindset
  • Daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, AI video tools, automation)
  • Solid understanding of analytics (Tableau etc.)
  • Clear communication skills, push for clarity, and make things happen
What we offer:
  • Massive budgets, global scale, and space to truly influence outcomes
  • A role with ownership - you’re the Display owner for the entire business
  • Cross-functional support: Product, Revenue, BI, Design
  • Real opportunity to rebuild processes, level-up the team, and leave a mark
  • Culture that values data, speed, experimentation, and smart automation
