Job Description:

Join a well-established, standalone twin-site practice at Boots Opticians in Stockport working across two stores and benefiting from a strong, supportive team that includes resident Optometrists, a Dispensing Optician, a pre-registration colleague and an experienced group of Optical Consultants. The practice delivers a busy and consistent clinic schedule with 25-minute testing times and a loyal, predominantly established patient base in an affluent residential area, offering a great balance of clinical and commercial experience. The role is full-time, including alternate weekends and one late night every fortnight, with some flexibility available, and offers support for enhanced qualifications such as low vision. The stores are easily accessible, with excellent transport links on a main route between Stockport and Manchester, nearby bus and train connections, and free parking. Job Responsibility:

Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing
Inspiring your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service
Listening to the needs of customers and offer expertise and advice
Helping our customers to choose the correct eyewear and offer guidance to ensure our customers receive the best product suited to their needs
Supporting the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes to ensure that the business trades legally
Providing expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements.

Requirements:

Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
Passion for your own learning and development, completing all CPD training as part of the GOC requirement.
