Job Description:

We’re looking for a Dispense Technician to join Star Discount Chemist Prospect on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with dispensary experience, or a Pharmacy Assistant looking to take the next step in their pharmacy career, with full training and mentoring provided.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting Pharmacists with the dispensing and assembly of medications
  • Supporting dispensary workflow to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Providing general customer service and product advice
  • Updating customer records and managing dispensary stock
  • Packing Dose Administration Aids (Websters)
  • Processing orders and unpacking stock into the dispensary

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional presentation and team-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently and take direction when required
  • Availability to work 20–25 hours per week

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience as a Dispense Technician or Webster Packer
  • S2/S3 medication certification
  • Certificate III in Community Pharmacy
  • Experience using MINFOS
