Job Description:

Join one of the UK’s leading homecare and independent aseptic service providers as a Dispensary Pharmacist. Be part of a specialist team delivering life-changing medicines to patients in the comfort of their homes while gaining experience in a niche area of pharmacy.

Job Responsibility:

  • screen prescriptions for oncology, haematology, and other homecare therapies
  • manage the supply of aseptically prepared products including chemotherapy and immunological agents
  • dispense, label, and accuracy-check high-cost, specialist medicines
  • offer expert advice to patients and internal service teams
  • contribute to SOP development and provide training to dispensary staff
  • take on Responsible Pharmacist duties as part of the team rota

Requirements:

  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • experience in clinical screening and/or homecare pharmacy is desirable
  • understanding of aseptic compounding practices is a plus
  • excellent communication, accuracy, and teamwork skills
  • a drive to improve patient care and service delivery
