The Dispensary Supervisor helps ensure all the daily tasks of the department are properly executed. This position requires a leader that has experience in every workstation of the department and strong cannabis knowledge. Priorities include providing full support to the team, assisting with rest/lunch breaks, communicating departmental updates, and executing all processes within the department. The Dispensary Supervisor will serve as one of the main points of contact for product related inquiries (cultivators/vendors, strain, content information), product trends, employee performance, guest related inquiries (service and product feedback), and must collaborate with management to while help maintain a high team morale.
Job Responsibility
Work cross-functionally through the operation and maintain a hands-on “lead by example” approach
Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by all employees in the unit and the site is in full compliance with all local and state laws while assisting with regulatory inspections
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all store vendors, products/strains, and industry trends
Assisting the team with inquiries, product information and service recovery while ensuring optimal organization is achieved
Collaborate with the Floor and Inventory departments on all service and product related processes/matters
Assist with the hiring, training, coaching, and development of employees and in any and all areas to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success
Delegate, manage, and empower the team to achieve an optimal performance
Must be highly versed in conflict resolution for customer issues
Act as the first point of contact for RA1/RA2 customer situations that need to be elevated
Align with the Inventory/Floor Manager to set, meet, and manage all financial and operational goals
Partner with approved cash handling managers/supervisors to ensure the dispensary’s cash flow/intake is properly managed
Implement and manage all Company policies and procedures
Requirements
21+ and currently residing in the USA
High School Diploma or GED
Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire)
