Job Description

This is a skilled position with a primary responsibility to manage customer requests, ready mix driver schedules, call in times and payroll.

Manage customer requests
Manage ready mix driver schedules
Manage call in times
Manage payroll
Control the number of drivers needed throughout the day and make any necessary adjustments
Have a pleasant and accommodating voice over the phone
Demonstrate a positive attitude
Develop a positive rapport with Drivers and company supervisors
Demonstrate familiarity with delivery areas
Assist drivers in finding jobsites
Determine travel time to jobs
Determine best plant location to service jobs

High school diploma or General Education Degree GED is preferred
Prior related experience in the industry is a plus
Ability to type and use keyboards accurately
Knowledge of Database software (Command Alkon)
Knowledge of Internet software
Knowledge of Order processing systems
Knowledge of Spreadsheet software
Knowledge of Word Processing software
Customer service skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to write clearly and effectively
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting
Able and willing to work overtime and varying shifts including early mornings, late afternoons, and Saturdays
