We are looking for a Dispatcher to support daily service operations in Canton, Massachusetts. The person in this role will help ensure service requests are handled efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer care. Job Responsibility:
Respond to incoming service requests with professionalism and provide a positive customer experience during each interaction
Assign and route approximately 10 to 15 technicians based on service needs, timing, and availability
Arrange appointments by coordinating with customers, field technicians, and existing job schedules to keep work flowing smoothly
Monitor the dispatch board throughout the day and adjust assignments as priorities, timing, and open calls change
Review unresolved or active service calls regularly to ensure timely follow-up and efficient technician deployment
Communicate updates between customers and service personnel to support accurate scheduling and service completion
Requirements:
Previous experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a similar scheduling-focused role
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high volumes of calls or service requests effectively
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-moving work environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness
Comfort using dispatching systems, computer-based scheduling tools, or related software
Clear verbal and written communication skills when working with customers and internal teams
