Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Dispatcher to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama. As part of this Contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless coordination of logistics and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Job Responsibility:

Manage and dispatch service calls efficiently to ensure timely responses and resolutions
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics
Utilize computer-aided dispatch systems to track and update job statuses in real-time
Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and promptness
Monitor schedules and adjust assignments to optimize operations and meet deadlines
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and service performance
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during all dispatch operations
Provide updates to management regarding operational challenges and successes
Support other dispatch-related tasks as needed to maintain smooth workflow

Requirements:

Proven experience in dispatching or a related role within logistics or customer service
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with diverse audiences
Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch systems and other relevant software
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address operational challenges quickly
Knowledge of logistics coordination and scheduling principles
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
