We are looking for a detail-oriented Dispatcher to support daily service operations in Denver, Colorado. This is a Contract position focused on delivering excellent customer support, coordinating driver activity, and keeping service schedules accurate and on track. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate incoming service requests and build efficient daily schedules that align driver availability with customer needs
Stay in close contact with customers and internal staff to provide updates, confirm delivery or service arrangements, and resolve scheduling questions
Track driver progress throughout the workday using dispatch tools and make real-time adjustments when priorities or routes change
Prepare the following day’s service plan to help ensure timely coverage and a smooth workflow
Enter new work orders, service tickets, and customer job details into company systems with a high level of accuracy
Review aging open jobs and complete service follow-ups for work that has remained active for extended periods
Audit completed tickets to confirm all required details are documented correctly before billing is processed
Communicate professionally with employees, managers, vendors, customers, and external partners to support service execution
Assist with additional operational or administrative tasks as needed to support the dispatch team
Use dispatch and logistics platforms to maintain organized records and support efficient coordination of field activity
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, customer service, or a related function
equivalent combinations of training and experience will be considered
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and on time
Customer-focused mindset with the communication skills needed to work effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
Working knowledge of local geography and mapping tools to support efficient routing decisions
Comfortable using dispatch, scheduling, and record-keeping systems, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly
Able to work independently, stay adaptable in a fast-moving environment, and respond calmly under pressure
Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and a positive work ethic, along with the ability to collaborate well with others
