This role plays a critical part in coordinating crews, drivers, and equipment to ensure efficient residential and commercial service delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and ready to step up during peak seasons. Overtime (10–20 hours per week) will be required during the busy summer months.
Job Responsibility:
Schedule and dispatch crews, drivers, and equipment based on daily job assignments
Coordinate residential and commercial operations to ensure timely and efficient service
Monitor job progress throughout the day and proactively address delays or service challenges
Communicate real-time updates, route changes, and special instructions to field personnel
Confirm schedules and logistics with customers and team members for upcoming jobs
Maintain accurate records of job orders, time logs, mileage tracking, and service documentation
Collaborate closely with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to streamline service delivery
Support operational reporting and ensure documentation is complete and compliant
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or scheduling
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Type A, driven personality with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Hardworking, dependable, and eager to take initiative
Willingness to work overtime (10–20 hours per week) during peak summer season
