Job Description:

Receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ request for service on articles or utilities purchased from wholesale or retail establishments or utility company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ request for service
  • Records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered
  • Prepares work order and distributes to service crew
  • Schedules service call and dispatches service crew
  • Calls or writes customer to insure satisfactory performance of service
  • Keeps record of service calls and work orders
  • May dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments, using radio telephone equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a dispatch or similar customer service center position
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to learn and master DMLSS-FM program
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
  • Strong decision making and analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Be able to stand, push, pull, bend, kneel, and stretch for extended period of time
  • Be able to lift 25 lbs
  • Must be able to pass a local background check and have the ability to obtain and maintain NAC/LAC clearance after hire
