Job Description

This position coordinates delivery logistics between management, sales, and the yard. Group and route deliveries of loads according to designed geographic areas are done frequently. This position also assists in the building of loads and freight handling as necessary.

Job Responsibility

  • Call clients to confirm all details and serve as liaison between sales and the crews
  • Coordinate delivery times and total hours for load building, checking and staging
  • Assign loads to trucks to maximize daily efficiency
  • Schedule routing of area/market delivery equipment to reduce delivery expense & increase efficiency
  • Disseminate load list to yard associates to get the loads built
  • Audit outgoing freight using BOL
  • Responsible for load accuracy/inventory management
  • Load delivery trucks
  • Complete daily haulers maintenance checks
  • Prepare delivery analyses to improve delivery efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of all deliveries
  • Utilize various company-wide systems including Invoicing, POS, and Inventory
  • Communicate with sales team and customers on any back-orders prior to shipment/delivery
  • Be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
