Job Description:

As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will assist in the planning and execution of business assets, partners with internal and external customers to provide a level of customer service that fosters both internal and external customer growth and retention.

Job Responsibility:

  • Meet company mission and strategic goals
  • Take ownership through coordination, and implementation of freight movement between distribution centers
  • Ensure Quality and Safety in the respective work area
  • Compile data and reports to deliver solutions for change
  • Assume Driver Supervisor Responsibilities in their absence
  • Assist with driver payroll tasks and expense
  • Collaborate with both external internal partners to address concerns
  • Work to improve productivity and reduce cycle time of processes

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, General Equivalency Degree
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Skills to be successful in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
  • Willingness to work as a team

Nice to have:

  • College degree
  • Administrative / clerical experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
