Assists in the planning and execution of business assets, partners with internal and external customers to provide a level of customer service that fosters both internal and external customer growth and retention.
Job Responsibility:

Responsible for ownership, coordination, and implementation of freight movement between distribution centers
Schedule appointments with customers via phone, email, or web-based formats
Communicate with drivers on schedules and work assignments
Work with multiple departments and manage a diverse and hectic workload
Assumes Driver Supervisor Responsibilities in their absence
Assists with driver payroll tasks and expense
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
Requirements:
High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree
Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Skills to be successful in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
Willingness to work as a team
Nice to have:
College degree
Administrative / clerical experience preferred
Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills
