Job Description

Provide exceptional service to all Members and Guests while extending operational support to site Sales Leaders and onsite Teams. Collaborate with and support the Operations Leadership, Sales, and Advanced Sales Team in supporting the Cast. A typical day could include, but not be limited to, assisting with set up and breakdown for sales/member events, maintaining food and beverage stock backstage and onstage, coordinating collateral inventory, and supplies inventory management. Work indoors and outdoors in multiple weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and high humidity.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee supply orders and conduct physical inventory counts of materials or supplies in stock, and process purchasing orders to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Open and close various model rooms, including Island rooms and Hoku Hideaway, to maintain a welcoming environment for guests
  • Conduct routine inspections of model rooms to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
  • Sanitize equipment and supplies according to company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines to maintain health and safety standards
  • Retrieve packages and shipments from the resort’s loading dock, ensuring timely access to materials needed for the operation
  • Manage the set-up and break down of equipment during daily events
  • Assist with guest check-in while providing exceptional service during daily events to enhance the guest experience
  • Gather and organize all necessary materials and supplies for daily events, including seating arrangements, decorations, beverage cart, and equipment
  • Set up daily event spaces, including assembly of any equipment and furniture needed for the event according to the specified layout, ensuring that all items are in place before the start of the event
  • Ensure all technology is functioning properly, including microphones, projectors, and sound systems
  • Dismantle and pack away all equipment, furniture, and decorations at event conclusion
  • Clean the daily event spaces, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and responsibly disposing of any waste or leftover materials to restore the area to its original condition
  • Engage in regular communication and support with team members throughout the event process to create clear expectations in a collaborative environment

Requirements

  • 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably customer-facing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across in-person, phone, and email interactions
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to improve Guest experiences
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the absence of leadership
  • Adaptability to switch between tasks or priorities seamlessly in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift, carry, and move items that are up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per day
  • Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school degree or equivalent
