Job Description:

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools and ensure cleanliness in kitchen areas. Report unsafe conditions, support your team, and follow safety protocols while performing physical tasks like lifting and mopping.

Job Responsibility:

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
Wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock
Use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals to clean dishes
Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items
Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware
Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area
Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments
Follow company and safety policies and procedures
Report accidents and unsafe work conditions
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Move and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Nice to have:

No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience.
