Job Description:

The Dishwasher is responsible for providing the staff with a safe and clean kitchen area. The Dishwasher is also responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, tableware, and cooking equipment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Load, run, and unload the dish machine
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature, detergent, sanitizer, and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle
  • Keep the dish machine clean and maintain the cleanliness of the dishware
  • Properly washes, sanitizes, and stores all tableware and kitchenware
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the entertainment center
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
  • Keep the dish room, food preparation, and production areas clean and organized
  • Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
  • Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous work experience in a restaurant/bar setting
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
  • Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity for most of the workday
  • Required to exert physical effort to handle objects over 30 pounds
  • Required to walk or stand for extended periods
