The Dishwasher is responsible for providing the staff with a safe and clean kitchen area. The Dishwasher is also responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, tableware, and cooking equipment.
Job Responsibility:
Load, run, and unload the dish machine
Monitor dish machine water temperature, detergent, sanitizer, and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle
Keep the dish machine clean and maintain the cleanliness of the dishware
Properly washes, sanitizes, and stores all tableware and kitchenware
Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the entertainment center
Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
Keep the dish room, food preparation, and production areas clean and organized
Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards
Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team
Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Previous work experience in a restaurant/bar setting
Multi-tasking abilities
Good oral communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity for most of the workday
Required to exert physical effort to handle objects over 30 pounds
