Job Description

Are you an energetic and efficient person when given a task? We are looking for a dishwasher to fill a position in the restaurant industry in the Saint-Laurent borough, Cavendish area. As a dishwasher, you will play an absolutely crucial role in the kitchen’s operational workflow by ensuring the cleanliness and availability of all work tools. This high-volume position requires excellent speed and physical stamina to keep up with the pace during peak periods.

Job Responsibility

Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and all kitchen equipment
Loading, operating, and maintaining automated dishwashing equipment (industrial dishwashers)
Keeping the dishwashing area and dish storage areas clean, safe, and perfectly organized
Strictly adhere to current hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
Actively support the kitchen team during peak hours
Perform various related tasks involving general maintenance, kitchen cleaning, and waste management

Requirements

Ability to work quickly and maintain a steady pace
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment
Physical stamina (ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and handle heavy dishes)
Strong team spirit and a collaborative approach with kitchen staff
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and strict adherence to health and safety guidelines
