Job Description:

Dishwasher supervisors are responsible for the dishwasher staff, cleaning and restocking of all dishes, pots, pans, glassware and silverware for Shadows on the Hudson. In addition, dishwasher supervisors are responsible for helping to clean the kitchen at the conclusion of the night and for removing garbage from the facility.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise the dishwasher staff
Follow all required guidelines for PPE when required to wear and maintain a clean and sanitized uniform at all times.
Dishwashing including pots, pans, glassware and silverware.
Assist in hiring, scheduling, and disciplining of dishwasher staff.
All other kitchen tasks as skill and time allow (dishwashers fewer than 18 are not allowed to take on additional responsibilities in the kitchen).

Requirements:

Able to lift large pots up to 50 pounds
Able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
Able to withstand frequent stooping, bending and lifting
Able to wear synthetic or latex gloves
Able to follow verbal instructions
