Job Description:

If you like having most Saturdays and Holidays off and enjoy producing clean dishware that creates a great meal experience for guests, we would love to meet you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform all dish washing duties
  • Clean kitchen equipment
  • Ensure the dishwasher is properly maintained, cleaned, and polished at the end of each shift
  • Properly store all equipment when not in use

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dishwashing is preferred but not required
  • Ability to speak and understand basic English
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed to perform daily job duties

  • Operate burnishing machine to ensure proper finish on silverware
  • De-tarnish/polish silver for proper appearance
  • Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans promptly and completely so cooks can carry out their work
  • Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
  • Clean and dry foods to avoid slip/fall accidents
  • Separate linen from other debris
  • Perform other duties as requested, such as moving supplies and equipment, cleaning up spills, etc
