Job Description:

Cleans and maintains all areas of the Foodservice Department according to safety, sanitation and infection control standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Complies with internal policies and procedures, as well as, regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation
  • Cleans and maintains carts and kitchen equipment, using proper techniques and cleaning solutions
  • Performs warewashing duties per safety guidelines. Can include but is not limited to: dishmachine and three compartment pot sink
  • Regularly collects and disposes of all food related and recyclable waste/trash
  • May transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas

Requirements:

  • No Degree or any other education earned
  • No experience required
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
