Job Description:

We are seeking experienced an Discovery Counsel to support a global F500 automobile manufacturer company near Detroit.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and manage e-discovery processes across a variety of litigation matters, ensuring efficient and defensible handling of electronically stored information
  • Support government investigations, subpoenas, and regulatory inquiries, coordinating with internal teams and external counsel
  • Conduct factual development and assist with internal investigations, including interviews and data review
  • Advise stakeholders on litigation risks, discovery obligations, and compliance best practices, helping to develop internal policies and protocols
  • Collaborate with internal and external counsel on strategy, budgeting, and case management related to discovery and litigation matters

Requirements:

  • Licensed attorney with 7+ years of litigation experience, including hands-on e-discovery and investigations
  • Strong knowledge of e-discovery tools and workflows, and experience managing large volumes of data in litigation
  • Experience supporting government investigations or regulatory inquiries
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively
  • Must be able to go onsite Southeast, Michigan
