Job Responsibility:
Be responsible for the overall wellbeing and happiness of the children in your care
Help deliver a program of daily activities suitable for the age range of the children in a safe environment
Follow activity plans and instructions provided by the Camp Manager
Lead and supervise a group of children during daily activities, games, and outings
Promote the ethos of Discover Activity Camps, providing an exceptional role model to children in your care
Promotion of exceptional safeguarding practices at all times
Be responsible for the security of the premises in which activities are undertaken
Ensure that buildings and rooms are adequately secured upon departure
Provide a friendly welcome to all holiday club attendees, meeting and greeting parents, signing children in and out
Accompanying children around the site to different activities, supervising lunch and supervising open play sessions
Requirements:
Ability to work in a busy environment as part of a friendly team
Ability to adapt to different situations and think creatively
Enthusiastic with a genuine passion for working with children
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Nice to have:
Experience working in a Holiday Club environment
Experience coaching young persons' sports
Experience delivering other activities such as arts/dance/music/computing/science
Childcare/educational play certificates
